Grant Ogard

Grant Ogard is Co-Founder and Director of Research at BufferLABS, where he focuses on quantitative research, buffered ETF analysis, and systematic investment strategies. He helped develop the firm’s proprietary ADOPT (Applied Dynamic Options Pricing Theory) framework, which evaluates and compares buffered ETFs based on their holdings and changing risk-and-return characteristics.

Grant also serves as a portfolio manager for the BufferLABS US Equity Dynamic Buffer ETF (BFLB). Prior to co-founding BufferLABS, he worked as a proprietary trader from 2022 to 2024, developing experience in options, market structure, and systematic trading strategies.

Grant graduated from the University of Washington with bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Business Administration, combining a quantitative background with a practical understanding of financial markets.
